Leon Greenman Memorial Fund

Leon Greenman:   98288  18th December 1910 - 7th March 2008

Leon Greenman was a survivor of the holocaust who lived his dream - his dream was to try and stop what happened to him ever happening to anyone else in any shape or form.

Leon dedicated his life to confronting racism and helping people remember the Holocaust. So important was he, that there is a campaign to raise funds for an educational memorial.

We – 7B1, Brockworth Enterprise School, Gloucester – are supporting this campaign.

We have a booklet of poems we have written, with some contributions from our teacher, Mr. Stuart Butler and his friends.

We are asking for contributions. If you download this booklet, would you like to contribute £1.00 to the fund?

Please send contributions to: The Leon Greenman Memorial Fund, 7B1, Brockworth Enterprise School, Mill Lane, Brockworth, Gloucester, GL3 4QF

Gloucester Schools: Ask if there is a READS member in school - they will be able to collect donations for you.

The 'Ilford Recorder' newspaper that is running the Memorial Fund recently mentioned our contribution in a newspaper article!
