INTRODUCTION

This section is initially designed for KS3 and contains 3 lessons and 3 weeks of homework. There is also a STOP PRESS section based on recent news related to ageism.

It needs expanding! Please send in further ideas, refinements, suggestions, modifications, lesson plans and activities - email feedback@iRespect.net
but don't this put you off - what's here is good stuff (we hope).

FOR STARTERS

THE LESSONS

Now let us start to look at the different generations and see whether people suffer from any discrimination because of their age. If we wish to eliminate discrimination from our society, we must make sure that we stop discrimination because of age – we all age, don’t we?

  • Lesson 1 - Based on Shakespeare's seven ages of man.
    Includes follow on homework.
  • Lesson 2 - Thinking about overcoming age discrimination.
    Includes a two week homework.
  • Lesson 3 - Word associations and connotations of the word OLD.

STOP PRESS
